The subscription includes: the Hero smart dispenser, the accompanying mobile app, and 24/7 live support. There is no additional hardware cost.
No. Hero’s design supports independence. Residents or families handle setup, configuration, refills, and maintenance with support from the Hero team. Staff do not administer medications, do not configure medication schedules, and do not perform any clinical or hands on tasks related to medication management.
The app is needed for initial setup, but day-to-day use does not require a smartphone. Residents can dispense medication directly from the device.
Email support@herohealth.com and a prepaid return label will be provided. Residents may return the device free of charge within the trial period, after which a one year commitment applies.
Setup takes about 30 minutes. Our team provides instructions and ongoing guidance, and we’re available 24/7 for any questions.
